What is Shadow?
Shadow is a 15% grimoire roll with 6 documented skills and 2 documented passives. Variants: The Shadow detail page says there are no cosmetic variants. An overview table names Void, Bloodshade, Miasma, and Phantom; those names are not on the detail page. Variants change appearance, not the listed damage. Dark Cyclone (10s, 30 energy) is a wide slash plus a vertical finisher. Dark Haste (10s, 25) is a close outburst that briefly cripples. Dark Piercer (12s, 20) is a forward blitz. Shadow Annihilation (12s, 30) leaves three orbs that home in. Shadow Tendril (50s, 4) slows and tethers. Void Beam (12s, 25) arms a hand behind you and fires beams on recast. Fear The Shadows increases shadow damage at night (4 points, 100 Marks). Focused Beam turns Void Beam into one stronger shot while RMB is held (4 points, 100 Marks).

How do you get Shadow?
Reach level 15 so Arcane Whispers starts, climb Wisdoms Peak in the Kamo Region, choose Embrace it on the base portal, and speak to the Announcer in the tower. Later rolls come from a Magic Reroll, a rare Bael, Gladiator, or Vaelor drop, or a wipe that does not keep the grimoire.
How do you use Shadow?
A Shadow trainer is documented in Elden Forest. Passives are bought from the Grimoire Echo in the Inner Realm (U, then Inner Realm) for points, Marks, and sometimes Insight.
