Lightning is a 15% grimoire roll with 6 documented skills and 3 documented passives. Variants: The variant table lists Storm 8%, Solar 5%, Verdant 4%, Bloodstorm 2%, and Ignis 1%. The same page's overview sentence names only Storm, Solar, and Verdant. These figures are variant weights, not the 15% magic roll. Variants change appearance, not the listed damage. Electro Beam (11s, 30 energy) is a lightning beam. Lightning Barrage (10s, 5) is a flurry of strikes. Thunder Strike (11s, 35) is a lightning kick aimed under you. Volt Surge is listed at 15s and 30 energy; the effect sentence on the captured page was incomplete, so it is not restated here. Dragon Impact (16s, 40) calls a lightning dragon. Lightning Shroud (25s, 1 energy, requirement 8) is a transform aura. Lightning Pulse powers dodges while Lightning Shroud is active (4 points, 100 Marks). Rain Dancer increases ability damage in rain (4 points). Stormcaller's Respite gives a 40% chance after a lightning ability to imbue M1s for 10 seconds, on an 8s cooldown (4 points, 300 Marks).

Reach level 15 so Arcane Whispers starts, climb Wisdoms Peak in the Kamo Region, choose Embrace it on the base portal, and speak to the Announcer in the tower. Later rolls come from a Magic Reroll, a rare Bael, Gladiator, or Vaelor drop, or a wipe that does not keep the grimoire.

A confirmed Lightning trainer location was not documented on the magic page. Passives are bought from the Grimoire Echo in the Inner Realm (U, then Inner Realm) for points, Marks, and sometimes Insight.
